We make tools that shape the way people make
At Wow Factories, we want to empower people with the right to repair. By that, we mean offering not just tools, but the agency to fix, improve, and keep making.
We are makers who blend engineering precision with emotional resonance, creating tools that are built to last, repair, and grow with you.
By harmonizing logic and emotion, we’re reimagining what a tool company can be: not just a manufacturer, but a multiplier of better futures by designing tools that are, quite simply, wow.
The question that made us
In that moment, our team of designers, thinkers and lifelong makers, set out to reimagine a Screwdriver not as a forgotten utility, but as a symbol of repair, ownership and conscious design.
At WowFactories, we believe the things we make should evolve with us, not expire on us. We exist to question the standards of disposability and to reengineer permanence into the everyday.
The Combine Driver is our first answer to that question.
To make making as a human habit
We’re a small, agile team of designers, engineers, and material strategists passionate about building not just products, but systems of thought.
We prototype fast, obsess over tolerances and treat every detail as a decision.
But precision alone isn’t the point, making should spark excitement, not intimidation. That’s why we design tools that invite curiosity, encourage tinkering and remind people that making isn’t just a specialist’s pursuit, but a natural instinct we all can share.
We want to make making accessible and a little thrilling, to stop it from being just an industry term and start becoming a human habit.
Principles in practice
- Performance caps can’t exist
- Repairability is an experience
- Recyclability isn’t an afterthought
- Materials must be traceable:
A well audited supply chain can ensure this - Design must serve beyond the product:
Balancing performance with thoughtful user experiences - Repair must be simple:
So that maintenance is fun, and not a chore. - Recycling must be seamless:
No permanent welds, no glues, no gimmicks. - Even digital choices carry weight:
FONT: We use web-friendly Poppins and system font Georgia to keep load light.
COLOUR: Grey takes the place of white, lowering energy consumption pixel by pixel.
This is design as responsibility.
This is how we build wow.
The road
ahead
The Combine Driver is only the beginning. A proof that tools can be designed to last, repair and evolve with you.
But our ambition goes further: to create a family of tools that empower people to see repair not as a skill they might have, but as a right they always do.
With your support today, we can build the foundation for a new generation of tools. Tools that future generations won’t just use, but care for, repair, and pass on.
